Hello 2016 & This Years Workout Gear
Hello 2016! The gym is packed and the the clock is ticking. haha I am so glad to see so many life changing decisions in people the beginning of the year. I try not to start new year resolutions but I do have a a few goals for myself. I talked about a few in my last blog but I am officially decided to make a goal list. For the last few months I have been hitting the gym hard but lacked portion control.
Hot Pink Blazer
Sometimes you need to spice up an outfit but you really want to wear that little black romper you love so much. Blazers and jackets are my favorites especially on days I don't feel like dressing up. They can completely change the outfit. I had this hot pink blazer in my closet it is usually my favorite in the summer so you will see it again haha
Stylish Ways to Stay Warm During the Winter?
In southern california it feels that it is appropriate to wear a large down feather jacket as soon as it is 60 degrees outside. We just feel it so inevitably cold. I myself live in Ugg boots all of fall and winter long. I try to wear my other shoes but they don't seem to make the cut. Last week I was struggling to go out and keep myself warm without looking like a storm just hit.
How to rock Knee-High Socks?
Ok we Have all been there. So many options during the fall when it comes to socks and leg warmers but sometimes we have no idea how to pair them up. Who ever said you couldn't turn those casual striped knee high socks into a super chic outfit.
Everything you need for November
What you need this November? 1. Darker Nail color: It is ok to let go of the bright colors. I myself recently painted my nails a dark purple. 2. Put in those low lights in your hair. I usually let my roots get a little longer during the fall and rock the ombre look. 3. Start planning your outfit as well as your families for thanksgiving. (if you dress up) and if you don't I don't blame you it's football season! ;)
Ideas for Thanksgiving Activities
Oh my gosh guys! Few days before thanksgiving! I wanted to share some photos I took while I was at the UCLA campus. I went to get my degree and it felt so good to have it on paper. I'm really excited about spending time with my family on Thursday and I thought it was a perfect opportunity to share some fun thanksgiving activities.
Top Fall Hats
As my usual readers have already noticed, I can be a minimalist type of girl when it comes to outfit colors. I am all for the neutrals, grays, and whites because I love to play with my lipstick colors. The hat I am wearing in the photo above is from target and I linked it here. The price and the quality of it is amazing.
Pretty in Sequin
I knew I wanted something bold but I was really excited to wear my necklace. Sometimes with fashion you just have to not be afraid to play with it. I had been wanting to wear these sequin leggings for a long time and I recommend wearing a laid back tee shirt, tank top, or blouse with it. It depends on the type of look your going for.
How to Wear A Red Hat?
I scored this cute fall forever 21 hat and immediately had to make it an outfit. What I love about this hat is that it is lightweight, comfortable, and the dark brown/black leather strap allows you to dress it up or down.
What's great about this look is that you can recreate it at home fairly easily. All you need are some dark distressed jeggings, a white t-shirt, and some sneakers.
School Outfit by Day Beach Outfit by Night
How many random trips do you take right after school? Well I guess it is only possible if you live in California or anywhere in the world that is close enough to the beach. ;D The beaches get a little cooler at night and typically in classrooms so I try and carry a light weight sweater cardigan with me at all times. That never ending summer weather. haha
